Sanders County Fair

 

The Sanders County Fair began in 1911 with a community horse race.  Since then it has evolved to become one of the largest fairs in the state of Montana. Over 50,000 people flock from all over to enjoy the spectacles.    Come check out the HUGE demolition derby and cheer for your favorite vehicle!  Check out the horse show and bear witness to some of the most beautiful specimens of equine animals you will ever have a chance to see.

 

The rodeo at Sanders County Fair is one of the Top rodeos in the northwest.  Witness some amazing bull and bronc riding with great athletes while they make their circuit on the PRCA.  Watch the teamwork between both horse and rider during the team roping display, you won’t regret it!  Watch rider and horse expertly maneuver through a barrel course with some of the top times recorded in Western Montana!  With so many events to see at the rodeo, be prepared to have your senses filled with excitement, adrenaline and overall amazement at the skills of some of the Northwest top cowboy and cowgirls!

For a change of pace stroll through the wide variety of exhibits from Aunt Betty’s apple pies to some of the most beautiful vegetables all grown

locally and proudly displayed.  Don’t miss out on the exquisite displays of handmade quilts, blankets, jams, art, painting, flowers and so much more!

Stop in the 4-H booth and check out local kids showing their livestock that they have raised, fed, groomed and trained specifically to show at the fair.

Of course don’t miss out on the carnival rides and get your adrenaline pumping for a rush that you won’t soon forget.

Come and enjoy the parade celebrating the proud history of Plains Montana and the Sanders County Fair kick off!  Bring your kids and some bags to collect candy thrown from the beautiful floats, riders and other displays that will all contribute to the start of the Sanders County Fair.
